Brittany and Matthew (and Cody) | Sweeney Barn Wedding, Virginia

Brittany and Matthew's Sweeney Barn wedding is featured today and met each other at the College of William and Mary, a decade ago! These two decided that COVID-19 cannot stop their love #loveisnotcancelled, it was an absolutely gorgeous fall wedding!

When Mary, Brittany's mother, first came to us, she realized that the work involved during the initial planning became overwhelming, Brittany is studying for her Ph.D. at Stanford University while planning her wedding across the country-that is where we stepped in!

Over the last 18 months of planning via virtual meetings, Brittany and Matthew's wedding finally came to life, and showcased Brittany's mothers collection of over 400+ vintage floral plates incorporated for seating arrangements and each guest's table setting for a ethereal chic inspired wedding.

Due to the pandemic, the wedding ceremony was planned for outdoor to encourage social distancing and our amazing vendor team added extra precautions throughout the whole evening. Upon the guests arrival, everyone was welcomed with face masks and personal hand sanitizers to be used throughout the evening, throughout the venue, hand sanitizer stations were available for guests.

For their friends and family who were unable to attend, Brittany and Matthew offered a live video streaming of the ceremony for their loved ones to enjoy.

We loved collaborating on every detail and moment of their dream wedding, that truly represented Brittany and Matthew's own love story.
